Lady Gaga has risked reigniting her feud with Madonna, after rejecting comparisons to her during an awkward radio interview.
The ‘Perfect Illusion’ singer was not impressed when Zane Lowe drew parallels between her and Madge’s relationships with their fathers.

Speaking on Beats 1, Zane said: “There is another artist who has lived a very parallel existence based on this story, which I’m sure you can relate to. You know Madonna tells a very similar story… overprotective father… ‘Papa Don’t Preach.’ You know what I mean?”
But Gaga was not impressed, biting back: “Madonna and I are very different. Just saying.”
She continued: “We’re very different. I wouldn’t make that comparison at all and I don’t mean to disrespect Madonna, she’s a nice lady, and she’s had a fantastic huge career, biggest pop star of all time.”
However, she then appeared to throw shade at Madonna, saying: “I play a lot of instruments. I write all my own music. I spend hours and hours a day in the studio. I’m a producer. I’m a writer. What I do is different,” concluded the ‘American Horror Story’ actress.
“There is spontaneity to my work. I allow myself to fail. I allow myself to break. I’m not afraid of my flaws.
“I don’t mean that in a disrespectful way. I just will not be compared to anyone anymore. I am who the fuck I am and this is me,” she said.

“My life story is my life story, just like yours is. The thing is we all express things in different ways, but my rebellion at my father for him being angry with me, that has ended. It’s like finally I can bite back.”
Gaga and Madonna’s feud dates back to when Lady Gaga released the song ‘Born This Way’ in 2011, which quickly drew comparisons to Madonna’s hit ‘Express Yourself’.
Madonna later said that she found the fact the songs sounded the same was “reductive”.
However, after a lot of mud-slinging on both sides, the pair later made up, and were pictured together at the Met Gala last year.
