One thing – possibly the only thing – lockdown has gifted us with is the chance to have a glimpse inside the homes of celebs when they’re being interviewed on Zoom.

But while most stars have perched themselves in front of shelf upon shelf of books or a carefully curated selection of home decor, we think Nigel Havers has trumped everyone.

The 68-year-old actor was interviewed from the drawing room (!!) of his home on Tuesday’s Good Morning Britain – and it was exactly how you’d imagine Nigel Havers’ home to look.

Walls crammed with oil paintings? Check.

Wood panelling? Present and correct.

Far too many lamps? One can never have too many lamps.

Heaving cocktail trolley? Don’t mind if we do.

And while the rest of us were still eating our cornflakes in our PJs, not so for Nigel – who upped the ante even further by donning a roll neck jumper and smart blue blazer.

At 8am.

Spiffing.

Twitter was so impressed that the The Chariots Of Fire star’s name began trending…

Right, we’re off to get dressed in our finest and have a serious tidy up.
