Soapland’s many villains keep us entertained - and on edge - on a daily basis, and over the years, ‘EastEnders’, ‘Coronation Street’, ‘Emmerdale’ and ‘Hollyoaks’ have all seen terrifying characters strolling across their sets.

But while the likes of Archie Mitchell and Richard Hillman have left us hiding behind the cushion, no one is able to make us shudder quite like a child villain.

In recent months, we’ve noticed a number of cherubic youngsters transforming into sinister beings. Gaby Thomas, we’re looking at you.
