You Thought Awards Season Was Over...?

It might not have the leg-baring antics of the Oscars, nor the timing issues of the Brits, but the Television and Radio Industries Club Awards aren't short on glamour at the tail-end of Awards season, especially with Carol Vorderman working the red carpet in a blushing red number.

The former Countdown star joined entertainers from all wings of the industry at the Grosvenor House Hotel today, including Sam Faiers from TOWIE, Amy Childs, Lauren Pope and Nicola McLean, Emma Bunton and Kerry Katona, for a prize-giving lunch.

Eamonn Holmes is hosting the event, which has been held annually since 1969 and will this year hand out sixteen gongs for broadcasting across digital and satellite as well as mainstream analogue platforms.

The Awards are voted for by a huge number of Industry members, rather than being limited, like many other prize-giving ceremonies, to judges or panels.
