Amanda Holden Appears To Make Subtle Phillip Schofield Dig On Instagram Amid Ongoing Feud

The Britain's Got Talent judge has previously made no secret of her beef with the This Morning host.

Amanda Holden has seemingly taken another subtle swipe at Phillip Schofield on social media, amid their ongoing feud.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge first spoke about her beef with Phil last year, which is believed to stretch as far back as 2018, when Amanda reportedly expected she’d be invited back to fill in for Holly Willoughby on This Morning, only for the job to go to Rochelle Humes instead.

While she’s since made a number of digs at the daytime presenter, her latest came when she commented on a picture of Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford at the NTAs.

“My faves,” she posted on a photo of Eamonn and Ruth holding their award, which many have interpreted as a deliberate dig at Phillip, as the couple host This Morning in his and Holly’s place on Fridays.

Towards the end of last year, it was reported that Ruth had made a formal complaint about Phillip’s conduct behind the scenes of This Morning.

Although neither party has ever addressed this, Amanda said on her Heart radio show at the time: “I’m just gonna say that I really admire anyone that sticks up for themselves because it is not an easy thing to do.

“There is a tin opener and there’s a can somewhere and other people have found the tin opener. That’s all I’m saying.”

ITV previously denied rumours of tension behind the scenes of the show, saying it was “deeply disappointing and unfair for Phillip to be the target of this sort of malicious gossip”.

The show’s editor, Martin Frizell, also told The Sun: “We have the smartest viewers watching telly and believe me they would be the first to notice any issues — they haven’t because there are none.”

Patrick teamed up with 'Big Brother' host Emma Willis over the summer of 2012. While the pairing was perfectly pleasant, we're still wondering what made producers throw them together. (credit:Rex)

This part of This Morning's 28-year history is often glossed over, but you might just remember Twiggy and Coleen were picked as Richard and Judy's full-time replacements in 2001. They only lasted a few months in the job before being axed. (credit:Rex)
Jamie Theakston and Emma Bunton(07 of13)

The former 'Live And Kicking' presenter hadn't been seen on screens for a while when he hosted some shows with Emma Bunton over the summer of 2013. But the pairing proved successful, as the Spice Girl was later hired to co-host his Heart radio breakfast show. (credit:Rex)

We've not heard or seen anything from former 'Blue Peter' presenter Tim in yeaaars, but he did guest host the show with Kate Garraway in 2005.
Denise Van Outen and Richard Bacon(09 of13)

Another random pairing, but both Denise and Richard had experience in hosting morning telly, having previously fronted Channel 4's 'The Big Breakfast', albeit it with separate co-hosts. Here they are on 'This Morning' in 2005. (credit:Rex)
Jeremy Kyle and Kate Thornton(10 of13)

Given his direct, and often rude, approach on his own show, Jeremy seemed a bit of an odd choice to present the warm and friendly 'This Morning' alongside former X Factor host Kate Thornton in 2010. (credit:Rex)

Another 'who the hell stuck these two together?' pairing came in the form of former ITV newsreader Andrea and 'Take Me Out' host Paddy McGuinness, who presented 'This Morning' together for a couple of episodes in 2011. (credit:Rex)
