Comic-Con 2016 Trailers: From ‘Sherlock’ And ‘Game Of Thrones’ To ‘American Gods’, All The Spoilers And News You Need To See

From 'Sherlock' to 'Suicide Squad', the updates just kept on rolling in.

Comic-Con is officially over for another year, and we’re still digesting all of the news to come from the annual San Diego event.

The weekend’s many panels saw A-list actors from the TV and movie world facing questions together, and there was no shortage of new trailers, tidbits of information, and cast revelations.

With so much going on, it was pretty hard to keep track, but we’ve gone through all the updates with a fine-tooth comb, to bring you everything you need to know from this year’s event.

So without further ado, here are all the best bits…

1. That ‘Sherlock’ Trailer...

We might still have 6 months to go until the episodes are screened, but this new trailer - which clocks in at a humble one minute and thirty second - includes plenty that has got fans talking.

2. ...And There’s Also One For ‘Wonder Woman’

Gal Gadot has the mammoth task of playing the title character in the hotly-anticipated film - and we’ve now been gifted with a first look at her in action.

3. ‘American Gods’ Is Going To Be Well Worth The Wait

The first trailer for the TV adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s novel was unveiled at a panel discussion, where Kristen Chenoweth’s casting in the project was also announced.  

4. The ‘Captain Marvel’ Announcement

Brie Larson, of ‘Room’ fame, will be playing the heroine, and shortly after the news was confirmed, she posted this snap on Twitter:

Quite frankly, we can’t wait.

5. ‘Suicide Squad’ May Well Be The Movie Of The Summer

Yet another trailer was revealed at the event, along with the soundtrack announcement.

6. There Are ‘Prison Break’ Return Spoilers

The hit show is being revived, will be returning to our screens in Spring 2017.

Wentworth Miller, who plays Michael Scofield, has hinted at how the series will work, stating (via Digital Spy): “Michael will have a fresh set of tattoos... but they won’t work the same way they did the first time around.”

7. Sadly, The ‘Game Of Thrones’ Cast Are Revealing Nothing
