‘EastEnders': Mitchell Family Member Returns In Shock Twist

‘EastEnders’ bosses shocked fans yet again last night with two unexpected twists, as Honey Mitchell made her return to Albert Square and David Wicks suffered a heart attack.

Billy Mitchell’s former wife, played by Emma Barton, has been mentioned numerous times since she left the show in 2008, however, this is the first time she has appeared on-screen since.

Honey arrived in Walford to drop off Billy's kids William and Janet, an arrival which was kept completely secret by producers.

The Mitchell family has grown in recent years with the addition of Billy’s granddaughter Lola, who gave birth to Lexi last year.

It was recently revealed that casting directors are hunting for a new actor to play Ben Mitchell, who will arrive back in Walford this autumn.

Carol thought she had been stood up

A second twist saw David Wicks suffer a heart attack while on the way to his wedding.

His fiancée Carol was left waiting in a car, unaware that her partner had collapsed just metres away.

The residents of Walford are still trying to cope with the murder of Lucy Beale and plenty of the show’s cast have been trying to guess who is responsible.
