I'm A Celebrity 2020 Voting Figures Reveal Giovanna Fletcher Only Won By Smallest Margin

Jordan North and Vernon Kay also made the final of the ITV show.

Giovanna Fletcher might have been the surprise winner of this year’s I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! but the voting figures have revealed just how close the result was.

The author and podcaster triumphed over Radio 1 DJ Jordan North and TV presenter Vernon Kay in the final of the ITV reality show earlier this month.

However, she only just pipped Jordan to become the first-ever Queen Of The Castle by 0.54% of the final vote.

Official figures released by ITV show that Vernon had netted 26.5% of the vote when it was still a three-horse race.

But when it got down to just Giovanna and Jordan, she picked up 50.27% of the vote, while Jordan scooped 49.73%.

During the final, hosts Ant and Dec revealed that 12 million votes had been cast to crown the winner.

Meanwhile, I’m A Celebrity has officially become the year’s biggest TV show with an average of 11.2 million viewers watching across the series.

Overall, it is the show’s second most watched series in the 18 years it’s been on the air.

This year saw I’m A Celebrity relocate from its usual home in the Australian jungle to a remote castle in north Wales due to the pandemic.
