Katie Price Divorce: Chantelle Houghton Offers Former Glamour Model Support After Kieran Hayler Split

‘Celebrity Big Brother’ winner Chantelle Houghton has publicly reached out to Katie Price after she announced that she’s divorcing her third husband, Kieran Hayler.

Katie took to her Twitter page last week, just days after confirming she was six months pregnant with her fifth child, to reveal that she was divorcing the builder and occasional stripper, claiming he’d been embroiled in what she described as a “full blown sexual affair” with her close friend of almost 20 years.

Chantelle, who has a child with Katie’s second husband Alex Reid, has now sympathised with the former glamour model in an interview.

She told Yahoo: “It’s devastating, I mean, she’s six months pregnant and it’s a massive, massive betrayal. I mean, your best friend and your husband… I can’t imagine how she’s feeling.”

Chantelle went on to say that she admired the fact that Katie broke the news on her Twitter page, sharing details of her husband’s affair with one of her best friends.

She added: "I think go her – they’ve ruined her life so why not – put the truth out there. I’d do exactly the same thing if I were her."

Meanwhile, anyone hoping to hear Katie’s side of the story in full could be in for a long wait, as she’s admitted that at the moment things are “too raw” to talk about.

Writing in Now magazine, in place of the column she usually writes, Katie said: “I want to thank readers for all your messages of support. It’s been overwhelming.

“The past week has been so difficult and at this time it’s all too raw to talk about. I need some time and space.”

Meanwhile Alex Reid, the ex of both Katie and Chantelle, recently voiced his concerns for the star, saying he would be there for her if she needed him.
