11 Gloriously Inappropriate Quotes From New Children's Book Author Keith Richards
|

Hellraiser Keith Richards is penning a children’s book.

Yeah you read that right, the Rolling Stones axe man has put pen to paper to compose a tale about how his beloved grandfather ‘Gus’ introduced him to the joys of music.

Richards’s artist daughter Theordora will provide illustrations for 'Gus & Me: The Story of My Granddad and My First Guitar', which will hit shelves in September.

Keith Richards: 'I've never had a problem with drugs, only with policemen'

The 70-year-old, who once boasted of snorting the ashes of his late father, said via an emailed statement from publishers Orion Children's Books: “I have just become a grandfather for the fifth time so I know what I’m talking about.

“The bond, the special bond between kids and grandparents is unique and should be treasured. This a story of one of those magical moments. May I be as great a grandfather as Gus was to me.”

As we wait for story time with Richards, let's remind ourselves of some of his most memorable quotes:
