After one of the most low-key confirmations in TV history, Adele took to the stage at the ‘X Factor’ final, performing ‘Hello’ at Wembley Arena.

The singer’s hotly-anticipated performance wowed both the crowds at the final, and fans watching at home, before chatting with Olly Murs and admitting her fear at taking to the stage.

Adele’s performance of ‘Hello’ was pre-recorded in front of the huge audience, shortly before the live final, which also included star turns from Coldplay and One Direction.

The ‘Hometown Glory’ hitmaker has previously performed to gigantic audiences just a handful of times, however next year she’ll head off on a huge European tour, which includes a number of dates at London’s O2 arena.

It’s been an incredible two months for the singer, who smashed records on both sides of the Atlantic with her latest release ‘25’, which sold almost 1 million copies in the UK alone in its first week.

In the States, ‘25’ has now hit the 5 million sales mark, and the track’s video also broke VEVO records.
