Christina Aguilera has stunned her fans by proving she can do a pretty much dead-on impression of her former rival Britney Spears.

And we’re not talking a bit of open-mouthed gum-chewing and a couple of hair-flips here, we’re talking Xtina actually managing to sound more like Britney singing than Britney herself could probably manage these days.

The ‘Dirrty’ singer was making an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon’ on Monday night, where she took part in a sketch called ‘The Wheel Of Musical Impressions’.

After doing a 6/10 impression of her ‘Burlesque’ co-star Cher singing a coffee jingle, Christina was then given the challenge of performing ‘This Little Piggie’ in the style of Britney, a challenge which she was more than capable of rising to.

We are impressed, and so was Jimmy Fallon, who gave her a standing ovation, saying: “Oh my God! That was amazing! I love that so much.”

To round things off, Christina and Jimmy performed ‘The Golden Girls’ theme tune in the style of Michael McDonald and Shakira.

Beautiful stuff, we’re sure you agree.

Earlier this month, Christina won her fifth Grammy award for her A Great Big World collaboration and ‘X Factor’ staple, ‘Say Something’, which triumphed in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category.

She’s also currently preparing to record her eighth studio album, the follow-up to 2012’s ‘Lotus’.
