‘EastEnders': Peggy Mitchell Actress Barbara Windsor WOULD Return To The Soap

Barbara Makes 'EastEnders' Return Confession

Barbara Windsor has made a revelation that will make ‘EastEnders’ fans very happy, stating that she would consider returning to the soap.

Peggy Mitchell is one of the Square's most iconic and best-loved characters and, following rumours of a Ross Kemp return, Barbara has admitted she’d love to return to Walford with her on-screen son.

Speaking to the Daily Star, she explains: “I’m loving Gillian [Taylforth] being back on ‘EastEnders’.

“Gillian is the best. She doesn’t look any different from when she left. I think it’s great for her and great for the show. She is a true ‘EastEnders’ star.

“I did hear the rumour about Ross going back but who knows? It would obviously be a great storyline to have Peggy reunited with her boys. Never say never. It could happen.”

Earlier this month, it was rumoured that Ross could be back on our screens as Grant, and Annette Badland, who plays Aunt Babe, fuelled speculation last week during an appearance on ‘Good Morning Britain’.

The ‘EastEnders’ cast are currently filming this year’s Christmas episodes, and it was recently revealed that Kat and Alfie Moon will be back in Walford this winter.

There’s also plenty of drama to come in the months before the festive season, and this year’s Halloween show is set to be a huge, action-packed hour-long special.
