Mark Ronson, Kelly Osbourne and Bryan Adams have joined their friend Amy Winehouse's family for a private funeral in North London for the singer, who died at the weekend.

Kelly Osbourne arrived in one of several limousines at Edgewarebury Cemetery in North London, with her hair in a tribute beehive - Winehouse's own distinctive look - like others at the ceremony.

Ronson, who worked with Winehouse on her mould-breaking Back to Black album and described her as his "musical soulmate", looked lost in thought as he walked alone through the gates of the cemetery.

Amy's father Mitch Winehouse, who flew back from New York on Saturday when he heard the news of his daughter's death, gave a moving eulogy, which he finished with "Goodnight, my angel, sleep tight. Mummy and Daddy love you ever so much"

The ceremony also featured Amy Winehouse's favourite song, Carole King's So Far Away.

The short service was followed by a private ceremony, attended only by family and close friends.

Winehouse's ex-husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, who is currently an inmate of a Leeds prison, did not attend the service.

The star's family were anxious that she be buried as soon as possible after her death in accordance with Jewish custom, despite reports from the autopsy remaining inconclusive as to the cause of her death on Saturday in her home in Camden, North London.

Further toxicology data will be available in the next few weeks - the inquest into her death was opened yesterday and immediately adjourned until 26th October.
