The stars of cult comedy 'Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy' reunited on Wednesday night for the UK premiere of the long-awaited sequel, which comes nine years after the first film.

Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd and David Koechner, Christina Applegate and Meagan Good walked the red carpet outside the Vue West End cinema in London.

Paul Rudd told the press the gang are the One Direction of news reading.

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, which sees the news team leading the nation's first 24-hour news channel, opens in cinemas on 18 December.
