House producer Romanthomy, who sang on Daft Punk's smash hit 'One More Time', reportedly passed away at his home in Austin, Texas on 7 May.

There is currently no confirmation on the cause of death of the singer, whose real name is Anthony Moore, and who released his debut album 'Romanworld' in 1997.

Romanthomy's sister Mellony Moore confirmed the passing in a Facebook post on 9 May, Billboard reported.

She wrote: "Thank your for your calls and prayers, my brother was a musical genius."

As well as lending his vocals to Daft Punk's 2000 number two single 'One More Time', he also collaborated on the elusive DJ's 'Discovery' album track 'Too Long'.

Romanthony launched his career as a producer in New Jersey, and ran his own label Black Male Records in the early 90s, Sterogum reported.
