It's official - the biggest stars of television and film have hit the red carpet at Los Angeles' Beverly Hilton Hotel for the first huge awards ceremony of 2015 - kicking things off with the Golden Globes.
Best Actress nominee Rosamund Pike was one of the first stars to arrive, sporting a white, backless gown for her first ever Golden Globes, swiftly followed by Eddie Redmayne, who is nominated for the Best Actor accolade, for his star turn as Stephen Hawking in ‘The Theory Of Everything’, and Kit Harington.

Other stars who attended the 72nd Annual ceremony included Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley, and stars of the small screen such as the cast of 'Orange Is The New Black'.
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler resumed their roles as hosts, while the gongs were handed out by the likes of Jamie Dornan, Jennifer Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow.
