The ‘I’m A Celebrity’ campmates have barely been in the jungle for five minutes, and they’ve already been warned that the first Bushtucker Trial is imminent - and this one has already broken one of the show’s records.
In Sunday night’s (13 November) series launch, the contestants were split into two teams, the City Celebs and the Jungle Celebs.
Each celebrity had to undergo a difficult challenge with the intention of saving one member of their rival team from having to undergo the first Bushtucker Trial of 2016.

This saw Carol Vorderman forced to walk a particularly wobbly plank, Wayne Bridge facing his fear of heights by skydiving into camp and Larry Lamb showing he was a dab hand with a canoe.
The trial will see each unlucky participant having to lie down next to one another in a makeshift tomb in the middle of the jungle.
During that time they’ll be joined by 120,000 critters - the most that have ever been used in the 14 years ‘I’m A Celebrity’ has been on the air.

If the celebrities can stick it among the rats, mealworms, spiders, crickets and cockroaches that will be joining them, they can win as many as 10 stars for the camp.
Show bosses are remaining tight-lipped about future trials this series, but it was previously teased that they’d be serving up one of the most disgusting jungle delicacies yet in an upcoming challenge, with crocodile vagina on the menu.
