BBC bosses are currently in the middle of slowly but surely introducing this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ line-up, and more potential celebrity contestants have now been named.

According to The Telegraph, ‘Call The Midwife’ actress Helen George is among the famous faces who’ll be mastering the art of ballroom dancing later this year.

The newspaper also claims that fashion guru Gok Wan will be appearing on the show.

Jeremy Vine was the first to be confirmed last week, and he later admitted, in a blog on HuffPost UK, that he “truly, madly deeply wants to learn to dance”, as an avid fan of music.

Ainsley Harriott and ‘EastEnders’ actress Kellie Bright were the next to be confirmed to be taking part in ‘Strictly’ this year, followed by former ‘Coronation Street’ star Georgia May Foote and broadcaster Katie Derham.

Whoever the next star to be announced is, the news will be officially broken by Bill Turnbull and Louise Minchin, during Tuesday morning’s edition of ‘BBC Breakfast’.

Other celebrities rumoured to be taking part in this year’s series, following Caroline Flack’s victory last December, include ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer and reality TV aficionado, Peter Andre, and ‘Loose Women’ presenter, Jamelia.

Former Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton also appears to have been on something of a one-woman mission to land a spot on the show, so we look forward to finding out how successful she’s been in the days to come.
