Alan Titchmarsh Airlifted To Hospital After Health Scare

The star's agent has made a statement on his condition.

Alan Titchmarsh is currently recovering, after being airlifted to hospital following a health scare last week.

The cause of the TV veteran’s worries was gallstones, and his sudden bout of pain occurred following a big meal.

He was first taken to St Mary’s hospital, near his Isle Of Wight home, before being airlifted to Portsmouth’s Queen Alexandra hospital, adds the paper.

While Alan is generally in good health, he previously revealed that he does take statins to ward off heart disease, due to a family history of the condition.
