‘Geordie Shore’ cast member Gaz Beadle faced a backlash from ‘CBB’ fans when he posted a phone number on Snapchat, which he told his followers they could phone him on.
However, this actually turned out to be the voting line to save his co-star Scotty T, prompting angry ‘CBB’ fans to accuse of him of trying to “fix” the show in favour of his pal.

The post was then taken down, with Emma revealing during Friday night’s live show that any votes cast as a result of Gaz’s post would not count towards the overall result.
She told viewers: “You may be aware that yesterday, Big Brother had to ask for the removal of a Snapchat post.
“Voting results are verified and independently adjudicated, and any votes cast in error have been disqualified.”
Gaz’s team have since apologised for the trick, who insisted that it was done by his marketing team, and weren’t a result of his actions.
A post on his Snapchat later read: “Apologies to anyone who was upset by the prank yesterday. It was not malicious or nasty in intent. Apologies from the marketing team. This was no way connected to Gaz."
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for ‘CBB’ said: “We've been made aware of an individual's post on Snapchat which may have led people to unwittingly call the phone line to vote for Scotty T. The Snapchat user has no connection with the Celebrity Big Brother production team or Channel 5.
"We contacted the poster in question to demand the post is removed. If any voters have inadvertently called the Celebrity Big Brother voting lines as a direct result of this post, we would ask them to get in contact with us before midnight tonight."
Gaz and Scotty T have appeared together on ‘Geordie Shore’ since Scotty joined the MTV show in its fourth series, back in 2012.
