Jack Whitehall Hopes To Play His Father Michael Whitehall In TV Adaptation Of 'Shark Infested Waters'

Jack Whitehall is apparently hoping to play his own father on TV.

The comedian's dad, Michael Whitehall, could see his 2007 memoirs Shark Infested Waters - about his formative years and his life as an agent for top actors - adapted for the small screen.

And if it goes ahead, Jack is said to be keen to play him, reported The Sun.

A source said: "It's early days but Jack has his eye on the role.

"He'd love to play his dad."

Michael, who is said to be in talks about the adaptation, has had some A-list clients over the years, including Colin Firth, Dame Judi Dench and Richard E Grant.
