Who Will Win At The NTAs 2016?

It’s set to be a winning night for ‘Downton Abbey’ and ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ at the National Television Awards, according to the bookies.

Bookmakers Ladbrokes have pegged ‘Strictly’ way ahead of its rival in the Best Talent Show category, with odds of 4/9 to win, compared to ‘X Factor’ at 3/1.

‘Downton Abbey’ looks set to pick up its final NTA following its last episode at Christmas, with ITV’s period drama marked at 2/5 to win the Best Drama Category, ahead of ‘Doctor Who’ at 11/4.

Meanwhile, following a drama-packed 12 months, it would appear that ‘EastEnders’ has got the Best Serial Drama gong in the bag, with odds of 8/11, compared to Coronation Street’s 5/4.

Luckily, later in the ceremony, Sheridan was able to have her moment in the spotlight and make her acceptance speech, saying: "I am so, so, so sorry - stuck in a car for three hours!
