'Strictly Come Dancing' 2016: Two 'Britain's Got Talent' Stars Among New Professional Dancers

We were wondering why they looked so familiar...

Two former ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ stars are set to join this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ as professional dancers.

AJ Pritchard and Chloe Hewitt will also become the youngest pros the BBC ballroom show has ever had, aged just 21 and 20 respectively.

The pair, who are British and European Youth Latin and Ballroom Champions, previously appeared on ‘BGT’ in 2013, where they impressed judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams with their routines, going on to reach the live semi-finals.

AJ said of joining the show: “Watch out ‘Strictly’, here I come, it is going to be amazing and I feel ecstatic!”

Chloe added: “My childhood dream of being on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ is now reality! The sheer excitement is exhilarating and I cannot wait to be part of the ‘Strictly’ family.”

The BBC have also announced the addition of Neil Jones to the pro-dancing line-up.

Neil is the undefeated four-time British National Champion, and the three-time winner of the World Amateur Latin Championships, and is also the husband of Katya Jones, who was one of the new professionals that were announced last month

“I am so thrilled to be joining the cast of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’!” he said.

“As a British dancer I have grown up watching this amazing show, it is a massive honour and I am feeling pumped and excited to be part of the ‘Strictly’ family.”

He says: 'Wouldn’t it be great to have a husband and wife team on the show? It would be fantastic. But they’d be very competitive - the arguments at home...'

Soap stars have become as integral a part as 'Strictly' as body glitter and Bruno Tonioli's exaggerated hand movements, so rumours of Tameka Empson's appearance could well have a grain of truth in them. (credit:Anthony Harvey via Getty Images)

Possibly hoping to ride the wave that Vicky Pattison created with her 'I'm A Celebrity' appearance, Charlotte is now hoping she can turn things around for herself with a stint on 'Strictly'.

She's even encouraged her fans to set up a petition on Twitter for the BBC to consider her for the show.
