Zayn Malik has graced a number of arty magazine covers and given juicy interviews, but there’s one question fans are all still asking - what about his debut solo album?

The former One Direction singer delighted fans by unveiling his debut single ‘Pillowtalk’ at the tail end of January, but the details surrounding the album are still sketchy to say the least.

During his Beats1 interview with Zane Lowe, Zayn - who appears to be using just his first time from this point in - revealed the title is 'Mind Of Mine' but we want more info, and quite frankly, are counting down the days until its “early Spring” release.

During his Beats1 interview with Zane Lowe, the singer revealed that the album will be named 'Mind Of Mine', which reinforced the fact that the new material will be worlds away from 1D's work.

While Zayn hasn't confirmed an exact release date, he's teased that the album will be with us in "early Spring". We've done a lot of research on the matter (ahem, Googled it) and with Spring officially kicking off on 20 March, the safest thing to do is to be on red alert from then, which falls awfully close to the one-year anniversary of him leaving One Direction... First of all, don't expect any of the polished pop One Direction made, or indeed the indie rock-inspired tracks they've released in recent years.Instead, Zayn's going back to his roots and will be releasing R&B tunes. Earlier this year, Billboard wrote: "Malik’s voice gives each song its center. It’s a pleasantly rough thing, intimate and warm, but capable of striking falsettos."
