The moment the Platts have been waiting for will arrive in ‘Coronation Street’, when the verdict is delivered in the trial of Kylie’s murderer next week (Monday 24 October).
But will it be good news? Or will Clayton escape justice?

The road to the courtroom has not been an easy one, and before the verdict is given, there’s the small matter of this week’s episodes.
At present, the Platts are devising a plan in order to stop David from completing a suicidal revenge plot, and while these snaps show Clayton in court, the question of how far David goes remains unanswered.

While they were sworn to secrecy on exactly how the storyline develops, the actors did admit that the troublesome character is giving the family their biggest challenge of the last 12 months - during which time, it’s fair to say, they’ve been through a lot.
