Dancing On Ice: Mark Rhodes Is Out, After Losing Skate-Off To Charlene Tilton

'Limited Resources' Dances Off The Ice

Children's TV presenter Mark Rhodes became the third celebrity to leave Dancing On Ice after he lost a skate-off against Dallas star Charlene Tilton.

The pair had to dance with their partners for the second time during the movie-themed evening after a combination of the judges' marks and viewers' votes put them in the bottom two of the contestants on the ITV1 show.

The judges then decided that Rhodes's and Frankie Poultney's dance to Everybody Needs Somebody To Love, from The Blues Brothers film, was less impressive than Tilton and Matt Gonzalez's performance to Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend, from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.

Head judge Robin Cousins said: "Mark, it's been fun having you around, but I save Charlene."

Another judge, Louie Spence, said: "I love your spirit Mark, but the stronger performance was Charlene."

Rhodes said: "I'm absolutely gutted, but I was at the bottom in the first week, next to bottom second week, it makes sense for me to be in the skate-off. Charlene skated the second time absolutely brilliantly, and I messed up, so I'm absolutely fine with it."

He praised partner Poultney, saying she had been working with "limited resources".

The lowest judges' score on the night went to child star Corey Feldman, with partner Brooke Castile, who scored just eight out of 30. Asked if he was disappointed with that score, Feldman said: "Yes, very." But Cousins told him: "It was disappointing to watch."

The joint best score from the judges - and highest judges' scores of the series so far - went to Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter, with her partner Matt Evers, whose 21.5 was matched by Emmerdale actor Matthew Wolfenden and Nina Ulanova.

Spence told Porter that her dancing to Dolly Parton's Nine To Five was "fast, fun and fabulous. It was jam packed with choreography".

Here's who's left, still skating for glory:
