Last year, ‘EastEnders’ delivered the stunning live week episodes and for 2016, they’re pulling out all the stops again, with the return of Peggy Mitchell.

Actress Barbara Windsor is reprising her role for one final time, and the emotional storyline will see her character killed off.

In order to give Peggy the send-off she deserves, bosses have lined up a number of other comebacks, as the Mitchells unite to say goodbye to Soapland’s most memorable pub landlady.

But when do the episodes air? And who’s reprising which roles? Here’s everything you need to know about the hotly-anticipated episodes…

For those of you who need a refresher, here's what's happening: Peggy made a brief appearance in January, revealing that her cancer is back.

This month, viewers will see her decide to decline treatment, opting to enjoy the time she has left with her family. Though as you can imagine, this decision does not go down well with Phil.
Is Ross Kemp also returning?

She may be the newest of the bunch, but Kellie's character hasn't had it easy since moving into The Vic. While Linda has done her best to hold together the Carters, she's had a rough time, suffering a horrific assault at the hands of her brother-in-law, and acting as peacekeeper during the family's many feuds. Pauline was the original 'EastEnders' matriach, and there wasn't a problem she couldn't fix. Sadly, actress Wendy died in 2009, following a battle with breast cancer. (credit:BBC )

Cora's dry sense of humour and witty putdowns manage to inspire giggles during even the most torturous scenes. As mother to Tanya and Rainie, she certainly has more than her fair shares of problems. (credit:BBC )
