James Corden Has No Fear Of A Stage-Storming Kanye At The Grammy Awards

No control, no problem.

James Corden is an old hand when it comes to hosting a live awards show - think of his poker face when Adele spat the dummy when she was cut off at the Brits - so he has no fears when it comes to dealing with any unpredictable American artists when he comes to helm the Grammy Awards next weekend.

Asked by the Hollywood Reporter how he would potentially handle a stage-storming Kanye, James revealed: “I’ll take him down. He will hit the floor quicker than he has ever known.”

James has broken through many a barrier already on his way up the glittery ladder, and now the British favourite has broken another Tinseltown taboo - joking about his salary.

The host of CBS’s Late Late Show was asked if he was the most affordable person they could get for the prestigious Grammys gig.

He answered: “I cannot imagine there is one paid less.”

James may not have the astronomical salary of his late night talk show peers - the likes of Jimmys Fallon and Kimmel, as well as Stephen Colbert and Seth Myers - but it’s clear his star is firmly in the ascendant, with his Carpool Karaoke segment drawing millions of viewers on YouTube and attracting big names from Madonna to Michelle Obama.

James will host the 2017 Grammy Awards on 12 February, when performers billed to appear include Beyonce, Metallica and Adele.

How amazing does Cher look here though? The flowy white shirt over a bedazzled bandeau is really a look that only the iconic songstress can pull off. And she just does it so well. (credit:Michael Ochs Archives via Getty Images)

When Taylor Swift arrived in this goddess-like gown, we were so pleasantly surprised. For once, it wasn't covered in sequins! The star looked sophisticated and just plain gorgeous. Her glittering gold column dress from 2014 was a close second. (credit:Dan MacMedan via Getty Images)

When Gaga showed up wearing this stellar Armani Prive creation back in 2010, it was the talk of the night. Was it good? Bad? Weird? We're still not quite sure how we feel about it, but we do know that it's a look we'll always remember. Those crazy shoes and spiky orb just add to the wackiness. But, such is Gaga.
