Kellie shocked the sporting world with the revelation that she is over half way through a two year transition period, at the end of which she will undergo gender re-assignment surgery. But today she commended the industry for its reaction to her news, sending special thanks to Stan Collymore and Lennox Lewis. Speaking of her desire to be a woman, Kellie said: 'I knew when I was very young. But I come from a working-class background, I was taken to Millwall when I was three. It was very hard and I felt I don't want to be different.
