Hollywood actors gathered to pay tribute to Philip Seymour Hoffman at his wake on Thursday.
His family and friends were left shocked after he died at his New York home on Sunday from a suspected heroin overdose.
Stars including Amy Adams, Justin Theroux, Cate Blanchett, Michelle Williams, Joaquin Phoenix and Diane Sawyer were seen arriving at the New York wake.

A private funeral for family and close friends will be held on Friday.
Earlier this week, police arrested four men for drug offences possibly connected to substances found at the actor's home.
Police sources said they found around 50 envelopes inside the apartment that contained heroin.
