'I'm A Celebrity': Scarlett Moffatt Is Winner Of 2016 Series, Beating Adam Thomas And Joel Dommett

Scarlett Moffatt has been crowned Queen Of The Jungle, after winning ‘I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!’. 

The ‘Gogglebox’ star beat campmates Adam Thomas and Joel Dommett to win the 2016 series during Sunday (4 December) night’s final. 

Hosts Ant and Dec had earlier revealed ‘Emmerdale’ star Adam had finished in third place, meaning comedian Joel was runner-up to Scarlett. 

Her win came as a complete shock to her, as she broke down in tears following the announcement. 

She said: “I can’t believe it. Never did I ever think this would happen, ever.”

In the lead up to the climax of the series, viewers had seen the final three compete in an individual Bushtucker Trial.

Scarlett took part in the Caven of Claws, which saw her have to find stars in a dark, locked cave that slowly filled with mealworms, rats, crickets, cockroaches 

Adam’s trail - Fill Your Face - saw him have to put his head in a clear helmet, which was flled with critters, including his biggest fear, spiders.

Meanwhile, Joel had to undertake an eating challenge, and downed the likes of a dead hawk moth, fish eyes, a pig’s snout, blended scorpion and goat’s penis. 

After winning all available stars, the trio were treated to a three-course meal and drink of their choice, as they enjoyed their last night in camp. 

Scarlett now joins the likes of Vicky Pattison, Stacey Solomon, Joe Swash and Matt Willis, who have all previously won the ITV reality series. Remind yourself of more Kings and Queens Of The Jungle in the gallery below...
