If 2013 was the year of the selfie, then 2014 is already shaping up nicely (ahem) to be alllllllll about the belfie.

For the uninitiated (concentrate, here comes the science bit), Bum + Selfie = Belfie. Got it? Good.

Kim Kardashian is the reigning queen of the celeb belfie thanks to that snap she took of her peachy derrière and it wasn't long before the likes of Kylie, Cheryl Cole and Rihanna were getting in on the belfie action and posting their cheeky snaps on Twitter and Instagram.

OK, so some of these stars might need the whole belfie concept explaining (i.e. you don't get some underpaid lacky to take the photo for you) but we're sure they'll get the hang of it with a little practice…
