It feels like a biennial institution these days, but 15 years ago today, 'Celebrity Big Brother' made its triumphant debut. 

The show premiered on 9 March 2001, and lasted eight whole days before one reluctant housemate was crowned the winner. It was meant to be a one-off but its success guaranteed that it would be forever repeated, to this day...
