'I'm A Celebrity' Faces Chaos Over Nearby Bush Fires And Wild Dogs

We’re just days away from a brand new series of ‘I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here’, but it’s been reported that producers are having a nightmare behind the scenes due to factors beyond their control.

According to The Sun, hot summer weather Down Under combined with “strong North Westerly winds” have led to a huge 200-mile forest fire just 40 miles from Springwood National Park, where the ‘I’m A Celebrity’ camp is based.

But while firefighters are said to be keeping the blaze under control, 45 more fires are still reported to be at large in the same state.

As if the fires weren’t enough of an issue, The Mirror has also reported that feral dogs are currently on the loose in “the same area” as the ‘I’m A Celebrity’ camp, and could pose a danger to the famous contestants.

The newspaper claims that the wild animals have been breeding in national parks, which could potentially be bad news for the celebs.

‘I’m A Celebrity’ declined to offer comment when approached by HuffPost UK.

The 10 celebrities taking part in this year’s series have been confirmed, and if the line-up is anything to go by, we’re in for another stellar series.

Outspoken former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional Ola Jordan will be sharing the camp with ex-soap actor Larry Lamb, TV personality Carol Vorderman and ‘Gogglebox’ fan favourite Scarlett Moffatt.

Also heading Down Under are Olympian Sam Quek, comedian Joel Dommett, ‘Emmerdale’ hunk Adam Thomas and footballer Wayne Bridge.

Completing the line-up are Diversity dancer Jordan Banjo and radio presenter Lisa Snowdon, with the new series kicking off on Sunday (13 November) at 9pm on ITV.
