Jedward Front Anti-Bullying Campaign: 'We Had Each Other'

This is Jedward as you've never seen them before.

The usually revelrous pair have lent their famous faces - battered and bruised - to an Irish anti-bullying campaign.

Jedward were keen to get involved as they admitted they had themselves been victims of bullying.

"We were bullied at school but we were lucky in one way as we had each other," they said. "We know first hand how horrible bullying can be and so we jumped at the opportunity to be part of this campaign."

The celebrity campaign in Ireland, also featuring Louis Walsh, was instigated by Westlife's Mark Feehily, another victim of bullying.

He said: "I know at first hand how the impact of being bullied as a teenager can literally last a lifetime."

Laura Whitmore and Saoirse Ronan also feature in the new campaign.

The surprising images of the famous ISPCC ambassadors are intended to raise awareness of how widespread bullying is across Ireland, as well as how it can have a detrimental effect on young people's self esteem.
