Sharon Osbourne Says She’s Still ‘In Pain’ After Debuting Facelift On The Talk

The 66-year-old underwent the 13-hour operation in August.

Sharon Osbourne has debuted the results of a facelift, five weeks after undergoing a 13-hour operation.

The former X Factor judge was back as a panellist on US show The Talk on Monday following her surgery last month, and admitted she was still in “a bit of pain”.

The 66-year-old joked with her co-hosts that her surgeon had pulled everything from the top of her head and “put an elastic band in it”.

She said: “It was five weeks today that I had my operation.

“I had my neck done, my jowls … He kind of pulled it from the top of my head and put an elastic band in it. But everything was just lifted up. So it looks more refreshed.”

She added: “I feel okay. Still a little bit of pain. But you can’t complain when you wanted to do it.”

Sharon, who has been married to rock star Ozzy Osbourne for 37 years, first announced her plans to go back under the knife in May.

She said: “I’m having it in August so when we come back to film in September, I will have a new face.”

One of her The Talk co-hosts, the dancer Carrie Ann Inaba, replied: “But I like this face.”

Sharon responded: “You’re just used to it, you’ll like the new one.”

She later said she started getting plastic surgery because she looked like her mother and “I didn’t want to look like my mum”.

In 2012 she said she would not undergo plastic surgery ever again after having a double mastectomy.

She experienced issues with breast implants, explaining: “One of them had burst, and all of it had gone into the wall of my stomach. And one breast was different than the other.”

Earlier this year, Sharon accused her old boss Simon Cowell of firing her from The X Factor because she was “too old”.

She explained: “I was signed to go to England, and then Simon Cowell changed his mind and thought I was too old. Simon goes, ‘She’s old. We need somebody young’.”

Sharon added: “If you want young, fire yourself and get rid of those man tits.”

When rumors circulated that Simpson had rhinoplasty in 2006, her initial response was "Everybody's already saying it, so I just don't talk about it." Her dad then acknowledged the surgery, telling Fox News, "Girls have their own ideas. Anyway, there was a real problem with her breathing and that was cured." Ashlee later confirmed it to Us Weekly, telling the magazine, “I was never really unhappy with how I looked, (and) I don’t think I am more beautiful than I was (before). “I’ve had a little plastic surgery. I’ve had a little lipo. I’ve had a little Botox. And you know what? None of it works. None of it,” Curtis revealed to More magazine in 2002. "Ten years ago, before anybody did that, I had fat taken from underneath my eyes because I was on a movie and I was puffy. And I remember the cameraman saying, ‘I can’t shoot her now.’ I remember being mortified. And yet, you know what? Nobody tells you if you take fat from your body in one place, it comes back in another place," she added. (credit:Getty Images)

According to People, the "Hills" star followed up her 2007 nose job and breast augmentation with a 10-hour series of procedures in 2010 that included a mini brow lift, nose-job revision, chin reduction, neck liposuction, buttock augmentation, among others. "For the past three years I've thought about what to have done," she told People. "I am absolutely beyond obsessed." She added, "I was made fun of when I was younger, and so I had insecurities, especially after I moved to L.A. People said I had a 'Jay Leno chin'; they'd circle it on blogs and say nasty things. It bothered me. And when I watched myself on The Hills, my ears would be sticking out like Dumbo! I just wanted to feel more confident and look in the mirror and be like, 'Whoa! That's me!' I was an ugly duckling before." (credit:Getty Images)

We had a day off and I met up with some of my friends and we were dancing. And again, there was another collision of sorts -- I must be turning too quickly, people don't see me coming or something -- but it's fixed now!" (credit:Getty)

In May, Bynes took to Twitter to reveal: "Intouch used a photo from years ago on their cover and I hate it! The reason I've asked all magazines and blogs to stop using old photos of me is I don't look like that anymore! I had a nose job to remove skin that was like a webbing in between my eyes. I wasn't going to tell anyone, but I look so much prettier in my new photos that I don't want old photos used anymore! I'm so sick of magazines and blogs using old photos! When will they stop? I will never look like that again! Having surgery was the most amazing thing for my confidence!" (credit:AP)
