Caitlyn, then still known to the public as Bruce, was involved in the four-car accident, which resulted in one death, while five other passengers were left with injuries.

Now, Jessica Steindorff who was driving the car that Jenner hit, has filed a lawsuit claiming damages.

While the sum of money being claimed has not been disclosed, the lawsuit states that Jessica suffered “severe physical injuries”, reports TMZ, as well as a loss of wages.

This is the second lawsuit over the crash, following one from the step-children of Kim Howe, who died in the collision.

Four vehicles in total were involved in the fatal collision

The step-children filed a wrongful death lawsuit in May, however Jenner has filed papers calling for the case to be thrown out of court, according to TMZ.

In the months since the crash, Jenner’s open and honest discussion of her gender identity issues has placed her in the spotlight.

An E! docuseries ‘I Am Cait’ is set to follow in July, and the first trailer has already been revealed.
