‘Strictly Come Dancing' Finalist Kellie Bright Praised By ‘EastEnders' Co-Star Danny Dyer: ‘I Don't Know How She's Done Both'

‘EastEnders’ actor Danny Dyer has praised his soap wife Kellie Bright ahead of this weekend’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ final, admitting that he has no idea how the star has juggled her busy filming schedule with rehearsals.

The duo have filmed some of their biggest scenes yet in recent months, but that hasn’t stopped Kellie from nailing her routines and impressing the ‘Strictly’ judges.

Danny and Kellie have been a huge hit since arriving on the soap

Speaking at an ‘EastEnders’ press event, Danny said: "We're all so proud of her. I don't know she's been able to juggle both ‘EastEnders’ and ‘Strictly’, to be honest.

“She's got into the final on merit. She's been a bit ratty on a few days in work, but I don't blame her. I'd be ratty.

"Kellie Bright is a beautiful human being. On ‘EastEnders’, I'm part of a double act. Without her, Mick doesn't work. So I'm really rooting for her."

The soap’s boss Dominic Treadwell-Collins also revealed the lengths Kellie’s been going to in order to ensure her Saturday evenings on the dance floor go without a hitch, adding: “Kellie was even rehearsing for ‘Strictly’ out in the garden on the day that Linda is set to marry Mick.

“Now, when someone is getting married on ‘EastEnders’, that's their full focus. But to do both is insane."

This weekend, Kellie’s up against Jay McGuiness, Georgia May Foote and Katie Derham in the ‘Strictly’ final.

Each contestant will do three dances, one routine picked by themselves, one judges’ choice, and a final showdance.

Watch the ‘Strictly’ final on Saturday at 6.35pm.
