'X Factor' Winner Ben Haenow's 'Second Hand Heart', Featuring Kelly Clarkson, Is Out Now (LISTEN)

Ben Haenow Unveils First Post-'X Factor' Single
|

Ben Haenow has unveiled his first official single since winning ‘The X Factor’ last December.

And while his winner’s single, ‘Something I Need’, was a slow, brooding affair, his new offering his noticeably more light-hearted and fun, and features vocals from none other than Kelly Clarkson.

The track is officially available to download now (yes, already!), ahead of the release of his eponymous debut album next month.

Give it a listen below (story continues after track):

Ben previously said of the track: “The idea of a feature wasn't on the cards at first but when I heard the vocals on it, I was blown away as it gave the song a whole new dimension. Her voice is insane... it's incredible.”

Despite having showcased rock vocals during his time on ‘X Factor’, which made him the public’s favourite act throughout the competition, he recently admitted he wasn’t going to be pursuing a career as a rock musician, admitting to Digital Spy “no one would buy it”.

Of course, he isn’t the only one of last year’s ‘X Factor’ finalists to be throwing new music our way.

After signing up to Simon Cowell’s record label, despite finishing in second place, Fleur East is set to unveil her debut musical output, ‘Sax’, onto the world next week (presumably slaying us all in the process).

From last year’s ‘X Factor’ contestants, Stereo Kicks and Only The Young have both released singles, with mixed chart success, while Andrea Faustini unveiled his debut solo album, ‘Kelly’, over the summer.

And while he was hardly the public’s favourite at the time, Stevi Ritchie recently revealed that he would be heading to Japan to record his own single, which will be released - believe it or not - under Simon’s label.
